Connect your TikTok account

Go to the TikTok section in the navigation and click "Connect Account". You'll be redirected to TikTok's secure OAuth screen where you authorize Hobbyster to post on your behalf. Your credentials are never stored — only an encrypted access token.

Permissions we request:

  • ✓ user.info.basic — to display your linked account name & avatar
  • ✓ video.upload — to upload generated video files
  • ✓ video.publish — to publish videos to your profile

Add products manually or configure a source URL for automatic scraping. Each product needs a name, description, and at least one image — Hobbyster handles the rest. Your catalog becomes the raw material for every video.

Common questions

Do I need video editing skills? +
None at all. Hobbyster Creator Studio generates the video for you from your product images. You just click "Generate" and "Post" — that's it.
Can I disconnect my TikTok account? +
Yes, at any time from the TikTok Accounts page. Disconnecting immediately removes our access. Your previously generated videos remain in your Hobbyster history but the TikTok link is cleared.
Are my TikTok credentials stored? +
We never store your TikTok password. Only an encrypted OAuth access token is saved — this is a standard token that TikTok issues and which you can revoke at any time from your TikTok settings.
How long does video generation take? +
Typically 3–10 seconds depending on the number and size of product images. The job runs in the background — the video status updates to "ready" automatically when it's done.
How many products can I add? +
There's no hard limit on products. You can build up your full catalog and generate videos for each product independently. Scheduling and batch posting options are on the roadmap.
