Terms of Service - Hobbyster

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hobbyster ("Service"), operated at staging.hobbysters.cc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hobbyster is a software-as-a-service platform that helps users automate marketing content creation for TikTok by:

Scraping product information from configured websites
Generating short video content (1080x1920) using FFmpeg
Publishing videos to linked TikTok accounts via the TikTok Content Posting API

3. User Accounts

You must register an account to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity on your account. You agree not to share your credentials.

4. TikTok Integration

To publish to TikTok, you must connect your TikTok account via OAuth. By doing so, you grant Hobbyster permission to:

Access your basic profile information (nickname, avatar)
Upload video content on your behalf (video.upload scope)
Publish video content (video.publish scope)

You can revoke this access at any time from your TikTok account settings or by disconnecting the account in Hobbyster.

5. User Content & Responsibility

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You are solely responsible for:

Compliance with the TikTok Community Guidelines
Copyright and intellectual property of source materials
Accuracy of product information and prices

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Generate spam, misleading content, or content that violates third-party rights
Scrape websites that prohibit automated access in their robots.txt or ToS
Bypass rate limits or other technical safeguards
Use the Service for any illegal purpose

7. Service Availability

Hobbyster is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is currently in staging/development.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hobbyster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
